Local kids to benefit from teen dental plan
11 March 2008 Jenny Macklin MP, Federal Member for Jagajaga, today congratulated the Rudd Government on their announcement of a Teen Dental Plan. The Teen Dental Plan will assist local teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17 with their dental costs.
This is another election commitment honoured by the Rudd Labor Government.
“Good dental health and care is vital in ensuring our children’s health and wellbeing”, Ms Macklin said.
“Eligible families will be able to claim up to $150 towards the cost of an annual dental preventative check for each of their teenage children under this Plan.
“This is a tremendous investment in the health of our children.
